First newborn shoot!

I was so excited when this adorable baby's mom called me to do newborn pictures for her. I have been wanting to try some newborn photos for a while, but since there are only so many babies around, and they are only newborn for such a short time, I haven't had the chance...until now.

I was all prepared with lots of props and ideas to take some sweet, sleeping newborn photos. Only thing is, she was so excited by what was going on, that she refused to sleep. So, instead, we got some beautiful pictures, of the most content, wide-eyed newborn I have ever met. She was amazingly calm, and I had so much fun spending a few hours with her and her family. Isn't she precious?

    Thank you Ashli for taking these amazing photos. Everyone loved the announcement pic and we are finally getting around to blowing some of them up for around the house...now that she is three months old!
