A few weeks after doing this maternity shoot, sweet baby Devan was born. It was so much fun taking pictures of this tiny, adorable baby. He came to the neatest, most kind family and I was lucky to spend the morning with them.

I was so excited when these sweet family came for a maternity session. It was so fun to capture a part of their lives that is so full of anticipation, excitement and love. They are the sweetest family and I had so much fun with them.

First newborn shoot!

I was so excited when this adorable baby's mom called me to do newborn pictures for her. I have been wanting to try some newborn photos for a while, but since there are only so many babies around, and they are only newborn for such a short time, I haven't had the chance...until now.

I was all prepared with lots of props and ideas to take some sweet, sleeping newborn photos. Only thing is, she was so excited by what was going on, that she refused to sleep. So, instead, we got some beautiful pictures, of the most content, wide-eyed newborn I have ever met. She was amazingly calm, and I had so much fun spending a few hours with her and her family. Isn't she precious?

This is my nephew Cooper who just turned one. Isn't he handsome? I can't get enough of him...

I ♥ Faces {blue}

I finally decided to enter I ♥ Faces weekly photo contest. This week the theme is "blue" and since Kade has these amazing blue eyes (that keep me from staying mad at him for long), I knew this was the perfect shot to enter.
